Thomas is co-founder of Farmstead Circle, a Virginia-only marketplace for homestead and hobby farm care. He and his wife Lulu lived the coverage problem on their own homestead: goats, chickens, and last-minute neighbor texts when life pulled them away.
He writes about trust, independent caretaker relationships, and how rural owners find reliable help without treating caretakers as employees. Farmstead Circle is a technology connection only. Owners choose who to book. Caretakers set their own rates.
Work later took the founders off the homestead. They kept building because the need in Virginia rural communities did not go away. Thomas still focuses on product, compliance posture, and plain language for owners and caretakers.
