Our Commitment

Farmstead Circle is committed to digital accessibility for people with disabilities.

We improve the experience for everyone. We apply accessibility standards so all users get equal access.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible. They also help everyone use the site more easily.

We cannot meet every guideline in every area yet. We keep working to raise accessibility across the platform.

Farmstead Circle takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

• Provide text alternatives for non-text content
• Support browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
• Ensure form inputs have associated labels
• Maintain a logical and consistent navigation structure
• Offer both light and dark theme modes to accommodate visual preferences

Compatible Assistive Technologies

Farmstead Circle is designed to work with common assistive technologies:

• Screen readers (including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver)
• Screen magnification software
• Speech recognition software
• Keyboard-only navigation
• A skip-to-main-content link on every page for keyboard and screen reader users
• Browser-based accessibility tools and extensions

The platform works with current Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge browsers.

Ongoing Improvement

Accessibility is ongoing work, not a one-time project.

Our team regularly reviews and updates the platform, including:

• Conducting periodic accessibility audits
• Training our development team on accessibility best practices

• Testing new features for accessibility before release

Known Limitations

Some areas of the platform are not fully accessible yet. Known limits include:

• Third-party maps and payment forms may not fully meet accessibility standards
• Some older uploaded images may lack descriptive alternative text
• PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers
